What we collect
We collect the information you provide to create and use an account: your name, email address, phone number if you add one, profile details, account role, and communications with other members. We also store the businesses, listings, images, video, saved opportunities, follows, and messages you create.
Like most websites, we receive technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as device and browser details, IP-derived security information, and activity needed to diagnose errors or prevent abuse.
02 — Purpose
How we use it
We use account information to authenticate you, operate the marketplace, show your profile and listings, enable messaging, provide support, maintain security, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use your sign-in information to serve targeted advertising.
We keep information only for as long as needed for these purposes, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. When you delete your account, we delete the account and the associated marketplace records described below, except where retention is necessary for those limited purposes.
05 — Your controls
Your choices and deletion
You can update your profile and account role in Settings. You can remove public content you created through its edit controls. To permanently delete your account and associated marketplace data, open Settings → Leave GoDyrect, confirm the deletion, and submit the request. This removes your profile, listings, businesses you created, saved opportunities, follows, messages, and uploaded marketplace media. Account deletion cannot be undone.
For access, correction, or questions about personal information that the in-product controls do not cover, email [email protected] from the address associated with your account.
06 — Marketplace terms
Use GoDyrect responsibly
GoDyrect is a marketplace and communication platform, not a broker, lender, escrow service, or party to a transaction. Members are responsible for their listings, communications, due diligence, compliance, and transactions. Do not post unlawful, misleading, infringing, or confidential material you do not have permission to share. We may remove content or restrict accounts to protect the marketplace or enforce these terms.
We may update this notice as the product changes. If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will update this page and provide additional notice where appropriate.
07 — Security & retention
Security, retention, and children
We use encrypted connections, access controls, and established cloud service providers to protect account information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain account and marketplace data while an account is active, then delete or de-identify it after a verified deletion request, except where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.
If you choose to use a location feature, GoDyrect uses your location only to calculate distance and show relevant opportunities. If you enable iOS notifications, we retain a device notification token solely to deliver the updates you select. Neither is collected until you grant the system permission. GoDyrect is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
03 — Social sign-in
Google and Apple sign-in
Google sign-in is an optional way to create or access a GoDyrect account; email/password sign-in remains available. Apple sign-in may be added later. We request only the basic identity information required to sign you in—typically a provider account identifier, verified email address, and, where shared, your name and profile image. We never receive or store your Google or Apple password.
We will use that information solely to create, authenticate, and secure your GoDyrect account, and to prefill your profile if you choose. We will not use Google sign-in data for advertising, sell it, or request additional Google data unless a future feature clearly explains the request and asks for the relevant permission. Our use of Google data will be limited to the practices described in this notice.
With Sign in with Apple, you may choose Apple’s private relay email address. That address can forward mail while keeping your personal address private; we will treat it as your account email and will not ask you to reveal your personal email simply to use the service.
